American Wine Society Monterey Chapter is very privileged to present our very

special guest Glenn Salva, Wine Estate Manager for Antinori California. Glenn

will take us through a comprehensive presentation of the Antinori Family’s 26

generations of over 600 years of family owned wine making history dating back

to 1385. After which AWS Monterey Chapter Sommelier/ Wine Educator Paige

Post Bindel and Glenn will taste you through two selections from the Mountain

Select Bottlings.

ANTICA is located in the Atlas Peak AVA high above the Napa Valley in the

rugged eastern mountains and was chosen by Piero Antinori for its terrain, rocky,

well-drained soils, high elevation and scenic landscape, all of which produce the

ideal conditions for wine growing. All of the wines are estate grown, estate

Glenn’s two hand selected wines chosen for us to taste for this events are The

2018 Mountain Select Chardonnay and the 2017 Mountain Select Cabernet
